Please update your calendars and join CCHOG for a Local Ride: The Great Central Coast Sign-Hunting Safari ποΈπΈ
We will meet at Central Coast Harley, West Gosford @ 8:00am for 8:30am leave.
The ride description:
Get those phone cameras ready, dust off your best photo pose, and fire up those V-twins! We’re hitting the local twisties and backroads for a classic HOG ABCs of Touring point-hoarding mission.
It’s 87 kilometres of scenic Central Coast cruising, six legendary photo stops, and a whole lot of point-stacking bragging rights.
The Essentials Meeting Time: 08:00 AM (Grab a yarn and do your pre-ride checks)
Stands Up: 08:30 AM (Sharp — Milwaukee iron waits for no one!)
Distance: 87 km (1.5 hours of pure rumble)
Start: Central Coast Harley-Davidson, West Gosford
Finish: Bottletree Kitchen, Bensville
The Point-Snagging Run Start: Central Coast Harley-Davidson (West Gosford): The launching pad. Fuel up, do your final gear check, and set your odometer.
Stop 1 - Jilliby (Hue Hue Rd): A crisp run up to Jilliby to lock in a 'J' for the scoreboard.
Stop 2 - Ourimbah State Forest (Yarramalong Rd): Sweeping through the lush greenery to snatch the State Forest. Watch for damp spots under the canopy and enjoy the exhaust note echoing through the trees!
Stop 3 - Fountaindale (Enterprise Dr): A quick rumble down Enterprise Dr to tick off an 'F'.
Stop 4 - Ourimbah Town (Station St): Back into town for a second helping of 'O'. You can never have too many 'O's in your ABC bank!
Stop 5 - Davistown (Davistown Rd): Cruising lakeside down to Davi to scoop up a 'D'.
Stop 6 - Bouddi National Park (The Scenic Rd, Macmasters Beach): Winding along The Scenic Rd for some brilliant coastal vibes and a solid National Park point.
Finish - Bottletree Kitchen (Bensville): Kick the stands down, grab a well-deserved hot brew and morning tea, and compare camera rolls to see who scored the best shot before we call it a day.
Rider Tip: Keep your phone fully charged and easy to grab, those town signs aren't going to photograph themselves!
Clear skies, sticky tarmac and good company ahead.
