Wisemans Ferry Loop

Please update your calendars and join CCHOG for our Wisemans Ferry - A classic scenic loop with a mix of roads.

We will meet at Heatherbraes Pies @ 8:30am for 9:00am leave.

Turn Right out of Heatherbrae Pies and make our way onto the M1 heading South, we will then take the Peats Ridge Road exit and follow this all the way up the mountains through Peates Ridge and Calga until it takes us under the M1 and onto the Old Pacific Highway which we will follow all of the way to Berowra where we will join the M1 and head South Taking the Pennant Hills Road exit.

After leaving the M1 and joining Pennant Hills rd. we will continue to head South until we reach Castle Hill Road where we will turn Right and follow this through to Showground road and then Windsor Road where we will turn Right again and follow this through until we reach McDonalds at Vinyard where we will stop for a 30 minute wee and coffee break at approx. 10.45am (115 Km’s)

Leaving here at approx. 11.15 am we will continue to follow Windsor Road for a short while until we turn Right onto Pitt Town Road (at this intersection we will stop at the Service Station for fuel) Pitt Town Road will then turn into Cattai rd and finally Wisemans ferry Road that we will follow all of the way through to Old Northern road at Maroota, we will turn left here and follow this down into Wisemans ferry for lunch at the pub arriving here at approx. 12.15 pm

Leaving after lunch at approx. 1.30pm we will head down the hill to the Hawkesbury River to cross the Ferry and join Wisemans Ferry Road heading back to the Central Coast, we will stop at Spencer for a well needed cold drink and to say our farewells at approx. 2.15pm Total Km’s for the day = 178 Km’s
