Waking up, the weather was cloudy but come time to ride the weather was pretty good with a bit a cloud here and there.

We were originally going to travel down Pennant Hills Rd but due to popular demand we rode through the new North Connex coming out on the M2. The tunnel even has fairy lights although "Harry" missed them! The tunnel was long enough for some of our riders to rev their engines and let everyone know we were coming through. I don't think the Sheriff will be handing out fines for this as he may have been one of them??

We arrived at the BP on Heathcote Rd to fill up only to find it was Gail, our Activity Officer's Birthday, so we sung Happy Birthday.

We rode through the National Park, turned into Bald Hill, Stanwell Tops, but there was nowhere to park so we continued through to Corrimal RSL for lunch. Some people's meals were huge, food was very nice.

After refuelling, the 15 of us headed up Mt Ousley, turned left onto Picton Rd, then right onto the Hume Hwy and headed back home keeping in front of the black clouds that had come over. We said our good byes at the usual place at Thornleigh.
