Palm Beach

We  left West Gosford Mcdonalds with 30 bikes today so due to Covid rulings we had to split the pack into 2 groups. At first we had a large group and a small group but after regrouping at Brooklyn we decided to have 2 even groups about 1 minute apart thus making it easier for the Road Captains to mark corners and get back up the front.

It was lovely riding weather yet again. First stop was Terry Hills for morning tea. We then headed down McCarrs Creek Rd with all the new speed bumps, through the back of Mona Vale and out to Palm Beach for a photo down near where Home and Away is filmed.

We left there, riding along the coastal road past Whale Beach with beautiful scenery. Lunch was a free for all at Newport for an hour and a half...some going to cafes, some had lunch in the park.

Back along Pittwater Rd, up Powderworks Rd, onto  Mona Vale Rd, Killeaton Rd, Bobbin Head Rd and back onto the Pacific Hwy to say our goodbyes at Turramurra.
